Freelance Food Auditor

Note: Certification as an ISO 9001 Auditor and/or Lead Auditor certification in BRCGS, GLOBALG.A.P., SQF, PrimusGFS, or IFS is mandatory.

You will work closely with the Audit Department at QIMA to ensure that our Manufacturing Audit (MA) programs consistently meet and exceed our clients’ expectations. You will be responsible for conducting audits at our clients’ suppliers, mainly within the food industry, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Review Manufacturing Audit Reports to ensure they meet our clients’ requirements and quality standards.
2. Conduct audits at the manufacturing sites of our clients’ suppliers, mainly within the food industry.
3. Follow up on necessary corrective actions and monitor their implementation.
4. Conduct audits with the highest level of professionalism and integrity, recognizing that your findings and conduct may have lasting consequences for suppliers, factory staff, and our clients.
5. Maintain accurate and complete audit documentation and reports.
6. Perform other tasks as assigned by the management team.

• 4+ years of experience in the food industry, with strong technical expertise in food manufacturing.
• 4+ years of experience in food/manufacturing audits and factory evaluation.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification is mandatory.
• Lead Auditor certification in BRCGS / GLOBALG.A.P. / SQF / PrimusGFS / IFS is required.
• Strong knowledge of food production processes across different food categories and ability to provide practical improvement recommendations.
• Good command of English, both spoken and written.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
