QIMA Monasterium is based in Münster, Germany, and specializes in pre-clinical and clinical services in dermatology for therapeutics, cosmeceutical, and nutraceutical applications, offering among other clinically relevant ex vivo and in vivo pre-clinical models and state-of-the-art techniques.
We are seeking a team-orientated and highly motivated Staff Scientist (m/f/d) full time to join the QIMA Monasterium team in Münster, Germany.
Build scientific knowledge in regards to the topics relevant for each assigned project
Serve as Study Manager for contract ad internal R&D projects
Provide project updates to the Study Director and/or CSO
Organize work packages and distribute work in order to meet deadlines
Conceive, design and execute assays in the laboratory
Establish and validate new techniques
Critical and professional data analyses
Supervise and train Technicians, Junior Staff Scientists, and Research Assistants
Professional and responsible data documentation and archiving
Perform statistical analysis and presentation of data with appropriate software (e.g. Excel, GraphPad Prism, FlowJo)
Professionally prepare milestone reports and manuscripts
Presenting Reports to Clients
Participating and Presenting in internal scientific lab meetings
Discuss scientific results with other company employees
Proposing new innovative techniques
In order to succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
Eligibility
Completed training as PhD
Post-doctoral experience of at least 1 year
Publication of at least 2 manuscripts with relevant author position
Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English (Company language: English)
Priority will be given to applicants with documented experience in skin, hair follicle and/or immunology research, and/or in the following techniques: organ culture, immunostaining, FACS, FACS cell sorting, MACS, cytokine array or ELISA, RNAseq, single cell RNAseq, multiplex immunosteining
