Our inspectors, auditors, and lab technicians work diligently every day to safeguard the integrity of the food supply chain, ensuring that fresh produce meets the highest standards of safety and quality.

Are you passionate about transforming data into impactful insights that drive business success? We're looking for a motivate and skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team.

In this role, you'll use data to streamline operations, boost business efficiency, and deliver critical supply chain and quality insights to our customers. Your work will directly improve service quality and support strategic decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data-Driven Insights: Partner with business leaders to identify needs and develop data solutions that enhance supply chain performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Data Modelling & Automation: Build scalable data models and automate data integration from multiple sources.
  • Data Quality: Ensure long-term accuracy through robust validation and cleaning procedures.
  • Collaboration with Tech Teams: Work with developers to enhance data collection methods and pipelines.
  • Dashboards & Visuals: Create impactful, interactive Tableau dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
  • User-Centric Design: Collaborate with UI/UX and Data Viz teams to design intuitive interfaces that drive engagement.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and fine-tune dashboards to ensure fast, seamless access to insights.
  • Process Improvement: Use data analysis to uncover process inefficiencies and support high-impact projects.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Education & Experience: You hold a Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain, Operations, Data Analytics) and bring 3+ years of experience in a similar role. You’ve worked with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, or Qlik Sense.
  • Analytical Mind-set: You are good at analyzing complex datasets to generate insights that support strategic business decisions.
  • Lean Advocate: You’re passionate about lean practices and have a proven track record of optimizing processes and reducing costs through lean methodologies.
  • Data Modelling & ETL: You can design robust data models and build ETL processes that ensure data consistency and integrity across systems.
  • SQL & Databases: You’re proficient in SQL and experienced with relational databases for effective data querying and analysis.
  • Programming Skills: You have working knowledge of Python for data manipulation and automation, helping streamline workflows.
  • Communication: You’re a clear communicator with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams to drive data-driven initiatives.

Preferred Skills:

  • Quality Management: You possess experience in quality management, with expertise in either laboratory testing processes, supply chain dynamics, or quality assurance. You also have a good understanding of the challenges and opportunities in those domains.
  • Data Visualization: You are familiar with data visualization best practices, and love creating compelling and informative visualizations.
  • Portfolio:  You have a portfolio of existing BI projects to showcase your expertise and creativity in data visualization practices.
