Our Food Division is dedicated to helping every member of the global food supply chain ensure the safety and quality of food products, as well as safe working conditions and sustainable practices. With inspections, audits and certifications, we support food growers, producers and retailers, as well as businesses in food service and hospitality, securing their food products' journey from farm to shelf and fork.

THE ROLE IN BRIEF

QIMA’s Food Division is offering a 6‑month end‑of‑studies internship for ambitious, English‑speaking students eager to combine business strategy, project management, and hands‑on factory experience in the heart of Brazil or India.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the deployment of a new operations IT system.
  • Analyzing and optimizing day‑to‑day operational processes.
  • Working closely with the BI/AI team to introduce new technology features that boost efficiency.
  • Assisting in data collection, process documentation, and user training during system rollout.
  • Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to identify and implement workflow improvements.

This unique role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of operations, technology, and the food industry in a truly international environment.

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

  • We are looking for a final-year student in Business, Engineering, or a related field, ready to join us for a 6‑month internship.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • You are curious by nature, have strong analytical skills, and enjoy working in a team environment.
  • An interest in operational efficiency or mergers & acquisitions will be an additional asset.
