We are seeking qualified Environmental Auditors to perform assessments across various sectors to help companies enhance their environmental performance, reduce risks, and achieve sustainability goals. The role involves conducting on-site audits to verify environmental management practices, energy use, waste management, and compliance with environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct environmental monitoring audits, reviewing site data related to environmental impact, including Environmental Management System (EMS), Energy & Climate, Emissions to Air, Water & Effluents, Waste, Biodiversity, Chemicals and Nuisances.

  • Develop comprehensive audit reports and corrective action plans to address identified risks.
  • Travel within Germany to conduct on-site assessments.

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Must hold one or more of the following certificates (dating from 2024 earliest, before is considered as invalid)

    • ISO 14001:2015 Lead Auditor Certificate
    • ISO 50001 Energy Management System
    • EMAS (European Eco-Management and Audit Scheme)
    • BS 8555 Certificate
    • Higg FEM Verifier Certificate
    • ZDHC MRSL Verifier
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in conducting environmental audits, with a proven audit log (20 audits)
  • Fluency in both English and German is required.
  • Strong knowledge of local environmental laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present findings clearly and effectively.
